Your Chaco guides are thrilled to be able to share the magic of this land in a sacred and respectful way – giving to you the side of Chaco that few visitors will ever experience.

Except – when we’re at Chaco – we don’t feel like visitors at all.  We feel like we’ve arrived back home in some way.  If you are traveling with us – we suspect (because you are called to this journey) you will feel that way also.

Welcome Home.

Dona and Michael are passionate Chacoans – with a deep love and reverence for this special sacred place of peace and power.  They are excited to share this place with a new generation of conscious travelers.

Michael has experienced the magic of Chaco at least twelve times over the past two decades.  For Dona that number is 25 times and each time … the wonder of the “first time” is still present…and the deep soul connection profoundly alive.

Michael is a wildlife expert and experienced nature traveler – who can share with us the wisdom of the animal spirits that reside in Chaco and is a compassionate alchemist and co-facilitator of sacred ceremonies.

Dona is a ceremony leader, Medicine Woman, master teacher and “spiritual interpreter”  who has helped hundreds of people along their personal transformational path – both in private ceremonies and as a group facilitator.

We are thrilled and honored to have Nich join us as a Musical Medicine Man

Shen Yi Nich Von is a singer, song writer, plant medicine practitioner, ceremonialist, wild crafter, medicine maker, certified Mindfulness Meditation Mentor and Teacher, interfaith minister, Mondo Zen Facilitator and in training as a Zen Priest in the Rinzai lineage of Zen Buddhism.

He has been working with the native plants for years and walking the Red Road, the Native American spiritual path. Nich’s unique synthesis of Zen Buddhism, plant medicine, and Indigenous wisdom teachings has deeply shaped his view of the world and his approach to working with people.

What: In his healing practice he works mainly with the psycho-spiritual aspects of plant medicines and the buddha dharma, helping people remember their relationships with the spirit of the land. He has dedicated his life to helping build the foundations of a renewed, intact culture so that all beings may one day be able to live in a sane, healthy world in peace and harmony with nature.

As a ceremonialist he uses the healing power of music, plants, the word through story, prayer and dialogue, didactic teachings, and the power of community to transmute limiting beliefs.

We are thrilled and honored to have Christina join us as a special guide and caregiver.

Christina is an intuitive personal coach and a Chaco expert with a deep connection to the spirit of the Canyon.  She has journeyed to her spiritual home of Chaco many times over the past 25 years.  Over the decades of her exploration and service – she has developed a love and trust from Chaco staff that very few have ever known.

She even has an entire site (inspired by this petroglyph) named after HER at Chaco!  It is called “Christinas’ Hand”!

She is also a gifted photographer and is the author of a brilliant blog about Chaco!
